جلال‌الدین محمد بن بهاءالدین محمد بن حسین بن حسینی خطیبی بکری بلخی معروف به مولوی یا ملای روم یکی از بزرگترین عارفان ایرانی و از بزرگترین شاعران درجه اول ایران بشمار است. خانواده‌ی وی از خاندانهای محترم بلخ بود و گویا نسبتش به ابوبکر خلیفه می‌رسد و پدرش از سوی مادر دخترزاده‌ی سلطان علاءالدین محمد خوارزمشاه بود و بهمین جهت به بهاءالدین ولد معروف شد.

 وی در سال 604 هجری در بلخ ولادت یافت چون پدرش از سلسله لطفی نداشت بهمین علت بهاءالدین در سال 609 هجری با خانواده خود خراسان را ترک کرد و از آن راه بغداد به مکه رفت و از آنجا در الجزیره ساکن شد و پس از نه سال اقامت در ملاطیه(ملطیه) سلطان علاءالدین کیقباد سلجوقی که عارف مشرب بود او را به پایتخت خود شهر قونیه دعوت کرد و این خاندان در آنجا مقیم شد. هنگام هجرت از خراسان جلال‌الدین پنج ساله بود و پدرش در سال629 هجری در قونیه رحلت کرد.

 پس از مرگ پدر مدتی در خدمت سید برهان‌الدین ترمذی بود که از شاگردان پدرش بود و در سال 629 هجری به‌ آن شهر آمده بود شاگردی کرد و سپس تا سال 645 هجری که شمس‌الدین تبریزی رحلت کرد جزو مریدان و شاگردان او بود آنگاه خود جزو پیشوایان طریقت شد و طریقه‌ای فراهم ساخت که پس از وی انتشار یافت و به اسم طریقه‌ی مولویه‌ معروف شد و خانقاهی در شهر قونیه برپا کرد و در آنجا به ارشاد مردم پرداخت و آن خانقاه کم‌کم بدستگاه عظیمی بدل شد و معظم‌ترین اساس تصوف بشمار رفت و از آن پس تا این زمان آن خانقاه و آن سلسله در قونیه باقی است و در تمام ممالک شرق پیروان بسیار دارد. جلال‌الدین محمد مولوی همواره با مریدان خود می‌زیست تا اینکه در پنجم جمادی‌الاخر سال 672 هجری رحلت کرد، وی یکی از بزرگترین شاعران ایران و یکی از مردان عالی ‌مقام جهان است و در میان شاعران ایران شهرتش به پای شهرت فردوسی و سعدی و عمرخیام و حافظ می‌رسد و از اقران ایشان بشمار می‌رود. آثار وی به بسیاری از زبانهای مختلف ترجمه شده، این عارف بزرگ در وسعت نظر و بلندی اندیشه و بیان ساده و دقت در خصال انسانی یکی از برگزیدگان نامی دنیای بشریت بشمار می‌رود و یکی از بلندترین مقامات را در ارشاد فرزند آدمی دارد و در حقیقت او را باید در شمار اولی دانست. سرودن شعر تا حدی تفنن و تفریح و یک نوع لفافه‌ای برای ادای مقاصد عالی او بوده و این کار را وسیله‌ی تفهیم قرار داده است. اشعار وی به دو قسمت منقسم می‌شود نخست منظومه‌ی معروف اوست که از معروفترین کتابهای فارسی است و آنرا مثنوی معنوی نام نهاده است. این کتاب که صحیح‌ترین و معتبرترین نسخه‌های آن شامل 25632 بیت است، به شش دفتر منقسم شده و آن را بعضی به اسم صیقل‌الارواح نیز نامیده‌اند. دفاتر شش‌گانه آن همه بیک سیاق و مجموعه‌ای از افکار عرفانی و اخلاقی و سیر سلوک است که در ضمن، آیات و احکام و امثال و حکایتهای بسیار در آن آورده است و آن را به خواهش یکی از شاگردان خود حسن بن محمد بن اخی ترک معروف به حسام‌الدین چلبی که در سال 683 هجری رحلت کرده است به نظم در‌آورده.

خداوند خالق هستی است. همه زیبایی ها آفریده اوست. خنده نیز اثر او است. تبسمی که بر لبان شماست، آیه ای از آیات او است. تمام عوامل شادی از او نشأت گرفته اند؛ زیرا تمام هستی از اوست. جهان فقط زیبایی است. اصلاً خلقت برابر است با زیبایی. آنان که دنیا را پلشتی می پندارند یا خدا را نشناخته اند یا منظورشان دنیای بی خداست. دنیا، آیه خدا است. مگر آیه خدا میتواند زشت باشد؟! آیه یعنی نشانه خدائوند زیباست و زیبایی را دوست دارد.

«ان الله جمیل و یحب الجمال[2]»

شادی چیست؟ آیا تاکنون از شما پرسیده اند: محبت چیست؟ عشق چیست؟ خوشبختی چیست؟

سؤال ها ، این قدر ملموس اند که انگار پرسیدن ندارند. با این حال، صدها پاسخ از سوی دانشمندان به این سؤال ها داده شده است. شادی از اینگونه پرسش ها است. هر انسانی، شادی را تجربه نموده است. شادی مانند تنفس، غذا خوردن، حرف زدن و گریستن، از ضروری ترین نیازهای حیات انسانی است؛ گر چه برخی انسانها در استفاده از آنها دچار مشکلات می شوند. شادی، واکنش انسان در برابر «بیرون» است. اگر بیرون نباشد، شادی معنا ندارد؛ همانگونه که عشق ورزیدن و دوست یابی معنا ندارد. همة انسانها از برخی رخدادهای بیرونی، شاد می شوند و از برخی ناراحت. نمی توان شادی را عین «لذت» دانست. گاه بین این دو تمایز وجود دارد. برخی لذتها شادی آورند و برخی شادیها موجب لذت اند. روح نیز خسته می شود گاهی تن شاداب است و روح خسته. گاهی به عکس است؛ تن، خسته است و روح شاد. برخی، بدنی سالم دارند؛ اما روحی افسرده را حمل می کنند. برخی نیز تنی رنجور دارند، ولی روحی با نشاط به زندگی بخشیده اند، آیا ندیده اید کشاورزی را که پس از رنج نشا در شالیزار، با لبخندی به زیبایی آن چه نظاره می کند روان خویش را آرام می سازد؟

گاهی جسم و روح، هر دو خسته اند. این جاست که پای استراحت روح به میان می آید. هنگامه خستگی روح و روان، باید سراغ حکمتهای شادی آور رفت؛ همان گونه که امام علی،‌علیه السلام فرمود :

«ان هذه القلوب تمل کما تمل الا بدان فابتغوا لها طرائف الحکمه[3]»

انسان باید در همه کارهای خود تعادل را برقرار سازد. کار زیاد، بدن را خسته می کند و روح را در فشار قرار می دهد. لذتهای حلال در اینگونه لحظات، فریاد رس هر انسان باورمند به آخرت است. برخی، تن خسته خویش را با هر خوشی، به کامیابی می رسانند؛ اما دین باوران تنها از لذتهای حلال برای سامان بخشی به قلبهای خسته و رهایی از بند مشکلات استفاده می کنند.

برخی فقط در اندیشه ثروت اند و برخی فقط در اندیشه راز و نیاز با خدا. برخی از هر دو چشم پوشیده اند. شماری اندک نیز به دنبال هر دو هستند. شماری هم علاوه بر آن دو، لذتهای حلال را به سفره زندگی خویش اضافه کرده اند.

پیشوای پرهیزکاران، امام علی »علیه السلام« فرمود :

«للمون ثلاث ساعات: فساعه یناجی فیها ربه و ساعه یرم معاشه و ساعه یخلی بین نفسه و بین لذتها فیما یحل و یجمل[4]»

«مومن،‌زندگی خود را در هر شبانه روز به سه بخش تقسیم می کند: بخشی برای عبادت خداوند، بخشی برای کسب حلال و بخشی برای لذتهای حلال و روا»

انبساط و انقباض ماده را در کتابهای درسی خوانده اید. مواد بر اثر گرما، منبسط می شوند و بر اثر سرما، منقبض. گرما مولکولهای مواد را از یکدیگر جدا می سازد و سرما آنها را به یکدیگر نزدیک. از این رو، مواد بر اثر گرما حجم بیشتری پیدا می کنند و بر اثر سرما حجم کمتری.

آیا روح هم انبساط و انقباض دارد؟ آری، روح ها هم گاه منبسط و منقبض می شوند. در برخی حالات، ظرف روح چنان تنگ می شود که هیچ ذره ای را پذیرا نمی شود، چه رسد به محبت نیایش. گاه برخی روح ها چنان گسترده می شوند که پذیرای تمام نیکی ها می گردند.

آیا تاکنون دیده اید افرادی را که تاب تحمل خویش را هم ندارند؛ چه رسد به دیگران؟ حتما شنیده اید یا خوانده اید که جوانی بر اثر شکست در امتحانات کنکور،‌خواستگاری، ازدواج، مسابقة فوتبال تیم مورد علاقه اش، ورشکستگی و … خود کشی کرده است! آنان که تاب تحمل «خود» را ندارند، به «خود»کشی متوسل می شوند. پایان راه انقباض روح، خودکشی است. برخی در میانة این راه قرار دارند. بیاییم برگردیم و روح خویش را منبسط کنیم. راههای انبساط روح، فراوان است. یکی از این راهها شادمانی است.

امام علی »علیه السلام« فرمود:

«السرور یبسط النفس»

شادی، سبب انبساط روح است.

شادی، انواع مختلفی دارد. برخی با شادی دیگران شادند و برخی با غم دیگران. برخی با همه شادند مرزی ندارند، حلال و حرام نمی شناسند،‌شادی را هر چه باشد می پسندند،‌شادی با هر که و هر چه برایشان گوارا است؛ می گویند شادی، شادی است، خوراک روح است، انبساط روح است، اساس زندگی است، هر چه باشد. اینان به عمق شادی راه پیدا نکرده‌اند، گمان می کنند روح خویش را انبساط داده اند. زندگی زیباست؛ اما زندگی. برخی مرده اند و لذت می برند. آنان که با تمسخر و اذیت و آزار دیگران شادند، روح شادی را نیافته‌اند؛ تنها علامت لبخند بر لب دارند؛ مرده ای خنده بر لب اند.

برخی آدمها برکه ای اند، برخی اقیانوسی، آنان که شادی را به هر قیمتی می خواهند مانند ماهیان گرفتار در برکه ای خردند و آنان که شادی های ناب را می جویند ماهیانی‌اند که در اقیانوس عشق صفا می کنند. برخی خیال می کنند که در اقیانوس اند، توهم می کنند چنین اند. بر فرض بپذیریم اقیانوسی اند، اما دریغ که اقیانوسی به عمق برکه دارند که گاه هوای نفس کشیدن نیز ندارند.

بیاییم شادی های روا را فراموش نکنیم. بیاییم از پیشرفت دیگران خوشحال شویم و از بیماری شان ناراحت. از شکست دیگران نخندیم و بر پیروزی شان نگرییم. شادی‌هایی روح را گسترده می کنند که پاک باشند. مگر شادی هم پاک و ناپاک دارد؟ آری، شادیهای حرام، ناپاک اند و شادی هال حلال ، پاک.
